Is this the reason why Americans love their country so much?

Today I was on a walk with my sister and my dog and my sister sounded really upset. So I asked her what is wrong and she said that it is haloween and we don't have a pumpkin or any other haloween decoration. It was a really awkward situation because I didn't know it is was haloween today. And than I began thinking how is that even possible? I mean, It is such a great day! I sill remember the times in elementary school when we would have a haloween party but now that I am in high school and I didn't have a haloween party in years I have really forgoten how exciting this day was. But this is simply not possible in America. How could you forget it is haloween in america when the kids prepare for this day for weeks? And than at the haloween night they go make that trick-or-treat thing and they get candy? You just cant overlook that. But here in Europe you don't have any of that. We know about haloween just becouse kids watch the Disney Channel and see all those rituals of cuting pumpkins ad decorating the houses and stuff. But as we get older we siply forget about that nice little holiday of yours. And now I can get to the main subject and that is why Americans love their county so much. Is it because they have a large army that can protect them? Is it because they have freedom? Or is it because they have such nice celebrations like Haloween, st. Patrick's day, Thanksgiving or Independence day? Could americans even live without theese traditions? These days are greatly celebrated and they bring the people together. They make Americans remember the great history of their nation. Theese holidays are the reason americans love their country! Of course that the great army and freedom they have, but without theese holidays they would have the mindset of some european countries. You cant even imagine how many people want to immigrate to another countries. It is a crushing majority really... From what I have read and seen, americans don't have the need to immigrate. It is because they feel proud of the place they call home. And yes, with this I mean to say that I am not proud of my country. I am not saying that I don't like it because I do, but proud? Proud of what? Maybe of the nice forests and mountains but all the rest is just boring. We don't celebrate like the americans do. When we have some kind of "celebration" all people sit home and enjoy the day off. This is our culture... And the american traditions are one of the main things I envy.

A sort of a introduction...

Hello people. So, today I decided to make my own blog. In these times many people already have a blog. I read some blogs but honestly, all they talk about is their daily life and problems and stuff like that. Why the hell would someone like to read that? Anyway, I want to take a different approach... You see, in my daily student life the most interesting thing is my bus trip home. Let me be clear, I don't mean the ritual of hopping on a bus and traveling for 40 minutes to get home. What I mean are the thoughts that run through my mind. You see, I always think of the thing I have acomplished and the ones I have to do tomorow or some other day. I like to plan my days forward... I also think about the people I met today. How did I behave with them and what inpression I left on them so I can expect their future behavior. I think it is a very crucial part of my bus thoughs. For example if I treated someone badly I have to aknowledge It first and than I can eather regret it and try to think about something that would reverse their oppinion about me, or just let it be and than be prepared for the mistrust or just the cold looks the person may cast at me in the future. Sometimes I try to  estimate the time that the person will be mad at me (as silly it may sound...). I like to have control over my emotions so when I think about the interactions with people that I had today, I won't be surprised by their behavior the next time I talk to them. I must say, I it has helped me keep a good relationship with a fair amount of people. But sometimes I just think about the stupidity of people theese days whitch is apparently on the rise... Seriously... Sometime I just can't figure out how can theese people exist in this world. Some are just stupid and oher are completely uninformed. For example huricane Sandy. Every radio station talking about it, every news segment is about Sandy and still both people in the morning radio contes didn't know what was the name of the storm. One didn't even know that there was a huge hurricane in America. And my friend dind't know what and where is Times Square... Just ridiculous. But back to the topic. You can expect  daily to every-second-day updates and new posts.
